Blendscape: new visions

The five meetings of Blendscape, the event organised by the architect and landscaper Patrizia Pozzi, has now reached its fifth edition. The meetings focused on all aspects of landscaping and outdoor design. Mirage was also present at the last meeting with EVO 2/e™, the complete system for designing outdoor spaces.

In addition to Mirage, the event featured four other presentations: Alessandra Rossi, landscape architect from the Parks and Gardens Department of the city of Milan, who talked about her project for the redevelopment of the Sieroterapico Park; Giulia Fontana and Vittoria Tamanini, landscape architects who presented the Parking Day project, which was created in San Francisco to address the public role of parking areas and more generally, urban mobility; Margherita Lombardi, Jacopo Vezzani and Alice Pasini presented their latest book “Il buon giardino selvaggio” (The good wild garden), a manual of best practices on the world of gardening. Markilux, the German manufacturer of awnings for gardens and terraces was also at the event.

The EVO 2/E™ project by Mirage,” explained Pozzi in her presentation at the Mirage, “represents the excellence in the design of outdoor surfaces. Porcelain stoneware is a highly functional and attractive material and Mirage interprets it in a very convincing and complete manner”.

Since 1991, Patrizia Pozzi has been owner of an architectural and environmental design studio, where she develops projects focusing on the design of parks and gardens, environmental and rural recovery and upgrading of public and private spaces. Her works have been published in Italian and international books and magazines and have been selected to be shown at the last three editions of the European Biennial of Landscape Architecture in Barcelona.

Since 2000, she has been teaching “Outdoor Design” in various schools and universities, including the Poli.Design consortium - Politecnico of Milan, the Marangoni institute, the Uniser of Pistoia, the Minoprio Foundation and the Monza Agricultural School, the Art and Message School of Milan, as well as professional training courses with AIAPP, at the Association of Architects of Milan and Varese.
