Think is the best solution for tiling internal and external walls using glues and in those situations which require reduced weight on the surfaces to be tiled.
For renovation
Think is recommended for the renovation of existing floor and wall tiling: Think can be laid on old floors or walls covered with marble, natural stone or ceramics, without the need for demolishing and avoiding the usual difficulties and costs involved in traditional renovation projects. Mirage always recommends levelling the existing floor before laying. Mirage recommends the use of Think for applications in residential or light-traffic commercial areas, and in any context where the regular transit of heavy loads or hardwheeled trolleys is not envisaged. Mirage also recommends laying only on existing floors. Laying on screed is strongly conditioned by the quality of the execution of the screed itself, its full maturing and the respect for appropriate expansion joints as well as excellent laying. In these cases, therefore, Mirage suggests the use of traditional-thickness porcelain stoneware.
For reliability
Think porcelain stoneware is made in Italy, designed and produced in our factory, with all the know-how, quality and service that have always assured Mirage's renown as a leader company in the international ceramics field. Moreover, Think meets the norm EN ISO 14411-G in terms of techinical performances. Think is perfectly suited to flooring in the same collection with traditional thickness, not only maintaining the same visual features but also the same work size and modularity, offering all the usual advantages of the porcelain stoneware produced by Mirage.
For an easy installation
Think is extremely easy to handle and install, being so lightweight (weighing around 11 Kg /m2), even in large sizes, offering increased efficiency during laying. Just 4,8 mm thick, the slabs can be cut and shaped simply using a glass cutter.
For nature
A product with a ”green design” for a sustainable choice, as the reduced thickness has lower environmental impact in terms of consumption, of energy, raw materials, packaging and transportation. Like all Mirage products, it is Ecolabel-certified.
Multiple sizes
Think is available in six collections in six different sizes (90x90/36"x36", 60x120/24"x48", 30x120/12"x48", 20x120/8"x48", 60x60/24"x24", 30x60/12"x24") that emphasize the use either for floors or walls. Also the Atelier collection is entirely made of porcelain tiles in 4,8 mm thikness, keeping the same Think characteristics limited to wall installations.
