ReGea: material looking to the future
ReGea's journey begins at Coverings: stone, innovation, sustainability.
ReGea was born from a profound intuition: that stone is not only memory, but also possibility. Through the dialogue between innovation and tradition, ReGea projects Mirage towards an even more ambitious future in sustainable design, and today represents the most advanced point of our evolution towards a circular industry.
Innovation in every detail
The project is inspired by Sicily, in an aesthetic manifesto that traverses the island’s landscape and celebrates the authentic beauty of its most iconic stones, reinterpreting them as regenerated materials, rich in meaning and potential.
63% pre and postconsumer recycled content
A new standard in ceramic design
Thanks to the ReSource mixture, ReGea sets a new standard for the ceramic industry: the collection reaches 63% pre- and post-consumer recycled content, also integrating for the first time 3% glass from decommissioned photovoltaic panels.
The value of the project goes beyond the product itself and lies in the supply chain that made it possible: a process optimized at every stage, starting from the reduced thickness of 8 mm, which improves logistics and reduces the environmental impact of transportation, without compromising technical quality. The result is a porcelain stoneware that combines lightness, durability, and performance, designed to adapt to any space, indoors or outdoors.

The international preview
ReGea was officially unveiled at Coverings in Orlando, the leading North American event dedicated to ceramic surfaces and coverings. An ideal international stage to present a collection that offers a new idea of sustainability, where technological innovation and respect for the earth come together in a project with an authentic character.
The soul of stone
In ReGea, Sicily is not just a source of inspiration: it is living matter. The two lines, Ragusia and Sciara, reinterpret the island’s stone tradition with an essential and contemporary approach. Ragusia pays tribute to the Comiso Stone and the Pietra Pece from the Hyblean Plateau: a balance of light tones and deep hues, where fine veins narrate a landscape sculpted by time. Sciara, on the other hand, is a tribute to the power of volcanic flows, revealing monochromatic surfaces marked by micro-material variations that evoke the dynamism of the lava shaping Mount Etna’s territory.
