During Milano Design Week, Mirage will be organising the workshop “10 studenti X 10 domande” (10 students for 10 questions), which will be held on Wednesday 8 June from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. in the Senato Accademico Hall of the University of Milan.

In keeping with the concept underlying “INTERNI Design Re-generation”, the encounter will take a look at urban sustainability issues, starting out from two projects representative of the process of ecological transition under way in Italy: the new Cerchio Rosso Park, a symbol of the rebirth of the city of Genoa, and the new Piazza di Comunità LOC, an urban redevelopment project in Milan.

Antonella Bruzzese, urban planner and lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Milan, together with Andrea Boschetti, architect and founder of Metrogramma, will be the moderators of the conversation between the guests and the students of the University of Milan. Questions from 10 students will open up a debate on the behind-the-scenes aspects of the two projects, with:

-       Arianna Piva, partner and project leader of LOC for Metrogramma

-       Pierfrancesco Maran, Councillor for Housing of the Municipality of Milan and institutional contact for Reinventing Cities

-       Cecilia Gozzi, partner and project leader of Cerchio Rosso and Parco del Ponte for Metrogramma

-       Simonetta Cenci, Councillor for Urban Planning of the Municipality of Genoa

-       Valentina Giacomelli and Giuseppe Vallelonga for Mobility in Chain, sustainable mobility for both projects

-       Isabella Inti, teacher of architecture, design and urban planning, founder of the association Temporiuso and in charge of temporary reuse and participation in both projects.

-       Simona Portigliotti for marketing and communication and representative of the private client Nhood for LOC

During the morning, there will also be a presentation of the new book “Le Città Visibili”, written by Pierfrancesco Maran and published by Solferino.

The workshop is open to the public, and will be streamed live on the LinkedIn channel and the Mirage website.
