Every year the Institute of Pantone selects the main trendy hues of the season to become the pillar for any design inspiration.

The color that has been chosen for 2017 is Greenery - a refreshing and revitalizing shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew, and emphasizes the deep human desire to reconnect with nature.

During the year, Greenery Pantone has influenced trends in all facets of design- architecture, interior decor, fashion, food, and so on.

But Green Color is not just the symbol of Mother Nature: this vibrant shade can also add a Pop Art Style to any floor, ceiling and wall in the home, creating a unique and highly energized decor vibe.

The new Mirage PoPJob Collection is the result of the collaboration between Mirage and Studio Job and makes use of this bright and unique shade as a re-interpretation of wood that breaks away totally from any standard of imitation, to explore an alternative, provocative style that is very graphic and colorful.

Rather than recreating real wood, however, Mirage and Studio Job looked at this material from a more graphic angle, intensifying it to the greatest possible extent to obtain a parquet with a Pop Style in brilliant, bright color that is totally detached from reality.

The choice of design and the color proposed in Pop Job gives a distinct maximalist feel to wood, overturning it completely and transforming it from a natural, neutral material into a true Icon of Pop.
